Choosing to continue his education in his home state of New Jersey, Dr. Hahn continued his medical education at Rutgers University - New Jersey Medical School. After graduating at the top of his medical school class, Dr. Hahn had the privilege to be invited to stay at Rutgers University - New Jersey Medical School to continue his passion for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. During his 6 year combined general & plastic surgery residency, Dr. Hahn gained extensive experience in the management of traumatic injuries, breast cancer reconstruction, wound management, and hand surgery. Dr. Hahn then completed a hand, upper extremity, and microsurgery fellowship at The University of Connecticut under the tutelage of the esteemed Dr. H. K. Watson.
Dr. Hahn is a Board Certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon that enjoys contributing to the future of plastic surgery, publishing numerous book chapters and journal articles as a leader in his field.
